Why Can't Mom Let Me Adopt a Kitten?
As a child, I have always been fascinated by the idea of having a pet. The thought of having a cute, fluffy kitten running around the house, playing with me, and giving me unconditional love fills me with joy. However, my mother has always been against the idea of adopting a kitten. She has her reasons, and I understand them, but I still wonder, why can't Mom let me adopt a kitten?

She believes that it is better to be safe than sorry, and therefore, she doesn't want me to adopt a kitten.
